The SIMUportfolio platform presented at the AMEE annual congress
The AMEE (Association for Medical Education in Europe) annual conference, probably the biggest event focused on medical education worldwide, took place on 24 to 28 August 2019 in Vienna. A team of authors from the Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses and the Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University, presented an integrative platform that has been developed at the Faculty of Medicine on a long-term basis, and that provides, besides other things, a comprehensive support for OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination), i.e. practical examinations of medical students.
This type of examinations allows for effective testing of future physicians’ skills, including e.g. communication with a patient, evaluation of medical examination results, or reaction to unpredictable situations.

These are the questions that are answered in a new public we application, which summarises results of a comprehensive analysis in a form of interactive visualisations and which was developed by students of the Mathematical Biology study programme.
